The Congregational Church of West Newfield
welcomes all who seek God, or wonder about God, or doubt God, or
are fascinated by God, or are angry with God, or want to find out
more, or think God is OK but churches are iffy at best, or are just
curious. We believe that the best path to God is learning to
follow Jesus, and we can do this best together. We depend on the
Holy Spirit and Scripture to guide us. Following the path of
Jesus changes us and the world we live in. We invite you to
join us in this path.

Child care and Sunday School are available during the service.
We are located at 1078 Maplewood Rd. in Newfield, Maine.
Directions:
From the west, turn onto Rte. 110 from Rte. 153 in NH, and where
110 takes a sharp right, go straight onto Maplewood Rd. The
church is about 200 yards on the right.
From the east or south, come into Newfield on Rte. 11. When
Rte. 11 takes a 90-degree right turn, turn left onto Rte. 110. Go
almost a mile, and turn right onto Maplewood. The church is about
200 yards on the right.
Our church partners with the Limerick Congregational Church in
many activities and ministries, and we share a pastor, the Rev.
Franklin Anderson. We are a local congregation of the United Church of
Christ, and were first gathered in West Newfield in 1801.
